It can oftentimes be difficult to decide what you want to be when you "grow up" and once you do, you begin to question if you made the right choice and you definitely did!!
Our industry is in #highdemand and that IS NOT changing. Everyone knows that when you look good you feel good-- and as a #beautyprofessional, we are the go-to for our clients to fulfill that need. Not only did we aquire the technical skills necessary to create our clients dream hair, but there's something in each of us that loves people--working with, talking to, and enhancing their outer beauty.
Now it's time to dig in, do the work, and set yourself on a path to:
* Financial freedom
* Ultimate creativity
* Limitless oppeortunites for success
I have been in the #beautyindustry for 15+ plus years. Technical skills are a must but you have to have the mindset that the #businessofbeauty is just as important. My purpose in creating this blog is to share the information that I have learned over the years to help you achieve the goals that your have set for your career as a #hairstylist. It doesn't matter if you are just starting out as a #beautynewbie or have been behind the chair for a while there is that one constant--the desire to keep growing as a hairstylist and stay on trend. One thing I have learned is that we have to keep learning, growing, finding ways to #worksmarternotharder, and all while building the career of our dreams.
Choosing to become a hairstylist was one of the best decisions that I have made. It has allowed me to provide for my son and create a life that both he and I can be proud of. It takes hard work and dedication. Not gonna lie--it's not always glamorous but it's always so worth it.
We dont #justdohair"-we have the ability to transform people's lives--and that, baby, is a superpower.
